An avid reader since childhood, nothing fills me
with more contentment than lying in a hammock engrossed
in a novel I can't put down, next to cruising at 20,000
feet, or at sea with no land in sight. The
pioneering mystery and science fiction authors on whom I
cut my reading teeth also inspired me to write.
